FANTASTIC FUNGI — 2024
This work was made at the Fantastic Fungi Festival in Suffolk, a community-focused event centred on fungi, foraging, ecology, and sustainable land practices. The festival brings together growers, educators, artists, and researchers to share knowledge through talks, workshops, and outdoor activities.
I photographed the festival on a voluntary basis, drawn to its community ethos and as an opportunity to learn more about fungi and their role in local ecosystems. The event combined practical education with a strong social atmosphere, with much of the programme taking place outdoors.
