DYSKI, SOUND MAPS — 2024, 2025
Commissions photographing Dyski’s Sound Maps residency, run by Tom Whitwell.
Dyski organises immersive, place-based residencies and workshops for musicians and sound artists, creating focused environments for collaboration, experimentation, and exchange. Sound Maps took place in 2024 and 2025, bringing together a small group of participants to explore sound, composition, and response to landscape over several days of concentrated work.
I documented the residency as it unfolded — recording moments of listening, field recording, discussion, rehearsal, and shared practice.
The beautiful albums produced during the residency can be listened to via Bandcamp. I am proud that my contribution helped inspire the (satirical) track ‘Claps’ on Album 3.
